The History of British Buildings
Historic Buildings across the country have survived and been restored and repaired for years to come for their owners and locals to enjoy and admire. Architecture changes as styles and designs alter with materials and methods of construction having a hand in how the historic buildings appear. As Listed Building Surveyors we have years of experience and understanding of the different periods of construction and can advise on how best to restore or highlight any amendments that have not been carried out correctly.
Although there are no exact dates when one style changed to another the following dates of period of architecture relate to the reigns of Monarchs.
